Terms of use

Last updated

By reading, searching, commenting or rating on khoi.co.uk, you agree to the terms below. In short: the original content is mine and I keep all rights; anything quoted from others always has a source; the blog is a personal view, not professional advice; and comments must be civil and are moderated by me.

The site's original content (articles, illustrations, design) belongs to Lê Quốc Khôi, except for passages quoted from other sources. All rights reserved.

You may read it, print it for your own use and share links to it. You and search engines may quote a short passage with the article title and a link back to the original. To republish a whole article or most of one, translate it, or use it commercially, please ask first at hi@khoi.co.uk.

Quotations and other people's work

When an article relies on a theory or a figure, I give the source in Harvard style and list the references at the end of the article. A quoted work remains the property of its author and publisher. I quote briefly, within fair dealing for reporting, criticism and education, and always with the source.

I do not republish copyright material from the university or from publishers: slides, handbooks, assignment briefs, rubrics, lecture videos. If you believe a passage on the site infringes your rights, email me with the link and the passage and I will look into it.

"Greenwich" and "University of Greenwich" belong to their owners, and I use them only to refer to the programme I am studying. Khoi Greenwich is a personal blog. It is not an official channel of the University of Greenwich and does not speak for it.

Not professional advice

What is on this site is management knowledge, experience and personal opinion. It is not financial, legal, tax, investment or admissions advice. Tuition fees, scholarships and university policy change over time; check the university's official information before you decide. I do not take applications, promise results or charge fees for advice. Your decisions are your own.

Comments and ratings

When you comment, you agree to these rules:

  • Stay on topic and be civil. No insults, harassment, threats or discrimination.
  • No spam, no advertising, no more than 2 links. A comment must be 5 to 2,000 characters long and the display name 2 to 100 characters.
  • Do not post other people's personal information, copy material that infringes copyright, or post anything unlawful in Vietnam or the United Kingdom.
  • Every comment is moderated before it appears, which can take a few hours. I may decline to approve, hide or delete a comment without notice, and I do not have to reply.
  • You are responsible for what you submit, and you allow me to display it on the site. You keep your rights in your own comment.

On ratings: each IP address can rate each article once. Do not use automated tools to post comments or scores.

Using the site properly

Do not attack the site, probe it for vulnerabilities or overload it. Search, comments and ratings are all rate-limited, and automated tools that send too many requests will be blocked. Legitimate crawlers follow robots.txt. The site links to other websites; I am not responsible for their content.

Limits of liability

I give sources and dates for figures so that you can check them, but I do not guarantee that everything is always complete, accurate and up to date. If you find a mistake, tell me by email and I will correct it. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for loss that arises from relying on the site's content. This does not exclude liability that the law does not allow me to exclude.

Governing law

The site is run in Vietnam by an individual, so these terms are governed by Vietnamese law. Rights that the law of the place where you live gives you and that cannot be waived, including in the United Kingdom, are not affected.

Changes and contact

I may change these terms; the new version takes effect when it is published, and the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. How the site handles personal data is set out in the Privacy policy. For any question, write to hi@khoi.co.uk.
