Satya Nadella and the growth-mindset culture at Microsoft

Microsoft's board appointed Satya Nadella CEO on 4 February 2014 (Microsoft). Microsoft says its culture is grounded in a growth mindset with three attributes: obsessing over customers, operating as one company and becoming more diverse and inclusive (Microsoft blog, 2017). In his 2018 shareholder letter Nadella wrote that the company is moving from people who know it all to people who want to learn it all; revenue rose from $86,833 million in fiscal 2014 to $110,360 million in fiscal 2018.
